Jazz Houston, is tuning up for a season closer with a concert featuring Grammy Award winning jazz artist and acclaimed actor performing with the Jazz Houston Orchestra.

On Friday, June 14th, Jazz Houston presents Grammy Award Winning Vocalist, Composer, Actor, and Activist, Ruben Blades in Dance Mania! A Salsa Celebration and Fundraiser at Revention Music Hall. Located at 520 Texas Ave, Houston, TX 77002.

"We’re delighted to be joining forces with some of the most talented artists in the world,” says Vincent Gardner, Artistic Director for Jazz Houston. “I have had the pleasure of performing with Mr. Blades on several occasions as a part of the Jazz At Lincoln Center Orchestra in New York, and It’s an honor to have him join the Jazz Houston Orchestra to celebrate the richness of Salsa music.” This energetic extravaganza marks Mr. Blades first Houston appearance in over two years and features groundbreaking arrangements of his own compositions and other Salsa hits, Instrumental classics by Tito Puente and Machito, and Mr. Blades own hand-picked Jazz favorites....
